Origin story

In a dream the universe was prancing through oblivion. They shook and wiggled to the rhythm of their heart, that is the rhythm of life. As they moved that life grew and the life that is spread, raising the spirit, the chi, the kismet, the life juice that makes up and moves through everything. This energy swirled inside the universe, which felt incredible and led to more prancing, jiggling, and shaking and with more movement the swirling life juice churned and grew and with the growing the movement became more chaotic and gestures turned to gyrations radiating everything and we are talking the universe here so i mean e v e r y t h i n g inside the universe was spiraling outward and beyond. This immense energetic event (also known as IEE) caused an eruption of life to burst. Some energy sprang forth beyond the universe creating entirely different universes to dance with. They were made up of stars birthing new stars ouroborosing into infinity. Within the universe our dancer, magic began to happen. Stars that hung in place in the skies began to loosen and move shooting down through different atmospheres. This happened very generously on the planet we are in. <<<EARth, a planet named for its mechanisms of listening.>>>

As stars moved through the layers of the EARth’s atmosphere they were transformed by all the elements. This burning rock of fire alchemized with the air and was directed by the wind. They all landed in different kinds of earth, some bone dry and others fell into puddles of mud.

Some even landed in rivers, lakes and the great big oceans. Their varied forms all reflect their unique journeys from the belly of the cosmic dance party. Some of these stars grew into gigantic shadow makers; we call them trees. Others erupted and spread wide along the ground. Still there were other varieties that used their stardust spirit vitality to become flowers.

Thistles are one of those magical flowers born of the stars. Their descent to EARth came with the mission of sharing the beauty and power of collective intention, all the while celebrating difference. We also come with hearts that can transmute melancholy and thoughts that separate and isolate. And most importantly we come bearing the ability to guide you to love. We grow abundantly and make many seeds to share. Sadly our existence here has become one of exile. People, who fear difference and won’t dance to the rhythm of their hearts, threatened by our mission, have given us a cursed nickname..i’ll only say it once…”weed” gasp!!!  SO we have adapted to be a bit spiny. But it is in our spiny cocoon that we flower and that is where us scouts reside. We rest our silly bums in the safety of our stardust flowers and hope you will continue to meet us here, to rest and play and spread the seeds of belonging and beauty right where you land.
